The only Center in the SouthEast with Board-Certified Dermatologist, Board-Certified Skin Pathologist, Board-Certified Micrographic Dermatologic (Mohs) Surgeon, Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, and Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon all under one roof
Harmonie Medical Center for Skin Health was originally founded by a Mohs Micrographic Surgeon (specialized skin cancer surgeon) and a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with the vision that patients with skin cancer deserved both state-of-the-art care and convenience. Upon the diagnosis of a skin cancer, Harmonie Medical distinguishes itself in providing specialists for every step of your treatment. Especially in cosmetically important areas such as the face, our Board-Certified Micrographic Dermatologic Surgeon uses a specialized technique of skin cancer removal called Mohs Micrographic Surgery to preserve the most normal tissue, while completely removing the skin cancer. The complete removal of the skin cancer then is determined by a Board-Certified Dematopathologist (Skin Pathologist). Dermatopathology is the medical specialty of microscopically examining skin specimens, critically important in assessing the complete excision of skin cancers. The defect from the complete removal of the skin cancer is then reconstructed by a Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon or a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon. In most cases, this specialized type of care may involve visits to different physicians located in different practices; however, at Harmonie Medical has all of these specialists under one roof. This highly specialized type of care can be accomplished at Harmonie Medical in a single visit. Harmonie Medical takes great pride in being the only Dermatologic Center in the SouthEast to be able to offer this combination specialized care. In addition to skin cancer care, our Board-Certified Dermatology providers at Harmonie Medical also takes great pride providing state-of-the-art general dermatology care.
