Dr. Christopher Z. Johnson graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Microbiology and a doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD). His desire to care for patients led him to medical school at Augusta University (then Georgia Regents University) where he completed his Medical Doctorate (MD). His medical education was distinguished by being nominated as an early inductee to the medical honors society, Alpha Omega Alpha. This is an honor awarded to the top students in each medical school class. He then completed his residency in the specialty of  otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Augusta University, where he honed his surgical skills in operating exclusively within the head, neck, and face. Following his residency, Dr. Johnson was selected to complete his sub-specialty training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Johnson is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Johnson’s surgical practice centers exclusively around facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
