XPressCheck

Almost half of all diagnosed cancers are skin cancers with basal cell and squamous cell being the most common. They are very treatable; however, the earlier they are diagnosed, the better the cosmetic result and the higher the cure rate. As a result, Harmonie Medical has implemented XPressCheck. This is a clinic reserved exclusively to examine and, if necessary, biopsy that suspicious mole or lesion that may be worrying you. It is our goal to schedule your XpressCheck appointment within 72 business hours of your call or contact, if not on the same day. It is our goal to offer XpressCheck for timely examination of that worrisome mole for your peace of mind or for early treatment for an optimal cosmetic and medical result.

XpressCheck is a clinic with short appointment slots dedicated to examining and, if necessary, biopsying a single worrisome or suspicious mole with the goal of either peace of mind for you or timely diagnosis and treatment. If you have a non-single mole or lesion concern such as a rash, acne, or psoriasis, our staff is happy to arrange for a more comprehensive visit with our dermatology providers. Below are some worrisome changes or signs in moles where

  • Irregular borders

  • Uneven color, the mole has multiple colors

  • Change in size or size larger than a pencil eraser

  • Bleeding, itching, pain

  • Change in appearance over time

  • Non-healing sore

  • Change on the surface of mole such as scaliness, raised area, oozing

  • Redness or new swelling beyond border of mole
